In a little town with a lot of history, anything is possible...
As you may already know, Quiet Nights is a small, hidden little town surrounded by a great canyon, a few large rivers, and a forest. It is smaller than a city, but larger than a community. It is like any other town you'll come upon: the average town family stuck in the days where TV's weren't needed, the days where people still believed that leeches cured you from sickness and relieved your body of bad blood, and the small town whose teenagers wanted to get away.
This being a historical town, many teenagers and their classmates are forced to go to the town, and the town itself lives and thrives on it's tourism. The center of town is full of gift shops, restaurants, a museum or two, and hotels: all of which are frequently visited by the town's own school, or schools from towns and cities near and far. New townspeople arrive by the handful every few years or so, though older townsfolk do not welcome them with fresh pies and open arms; not usually. They say that tourists are 'bloody idiotic', and new neighbors were 'extremely, extremely bloody idiotic.'
The town is a beautiful place. It is a good place for hunters and fishermen to gather; and they do. In fact, most of the men in the town either run fish markets or sell hunted meat to the general store and other small markets. Women either stay at home or work with their husbands. With these families are the farmers, the countryfolk. In this town, everything is grown by hand: nothing added. No horomones in their milk, and there are only about five flavors of ice cream. It is a quiet, natural place that lives off the land and off neighboring cities and towns.
But enough about the town...shall we move on?
In a town who believes it is terrorized by a force of evil, will the so-called evil be able to survive? Join today to learn the truth...or believe the lies.
