Roleplaying Rules
Most Important
- Four paragraphs minimum per post. We expect much more, but that is the minimum. Each paragraph must be thick. A few good, long sentences in each paragraph. If you say you are lacking inspiration, then do not post. I would rather wait for a great post than have a terrible fast reply.
- Keep up with your threads. You are allowed as many as you want. If you are inactive, I guarantee you will be PMed by either myself or your partner in the thread. Once you start delaying replies because you have so many threads, I will archive them without hesitation. Be responsible roleplayers, please.
Format
- You must write as if you are writing a novel.
It also must be in a third person point of view.
EXAMPLE:"Joe," Sally said, tears streaming from her eyes as she looked back at him. He was not moving and his head refused to turn to look at her. It was inevitable.- No OOC Chat-Speak (i.e. lol, brb, ttyl)
- DO NOT post in colors. I change the skin often and I do not want posts clashing with the layout changes.
- You may change the alignment if you wish.
Spell Check
- Words cannot express my love for Spell Check. Use it, please. I hate reading misspellings. I'm probably a huge hypocrite because I misspell almost everything, but with the handy Spell Check button, all of my spelling habits are fixed in an instant. It is not there for decoration- use it!
Dueling
- Any students may duel another students in their own time. I do not mind duels at all for they are just like fights among public schools. They happen often and there is nothing you can do about it. But, keep in mind that if the students are caught by a teacher, severe punishment will ensue. Duel at your character's own risk.
- NO GODMODING or POWERPLAYING.
Injuries, Deaths and Suicides
- This is quite obvious. No deaths or suicides without first consulting the Admin. That includes killing other characters besides your own. You must first consult the person who owns the character, then the Admin.
Common Room Behavior
- Do not randomly go searching through another houses's common room, besides your own, unless you have specific permission from the administrator. You are only allowed to ask for permission if it is for a plot line. If you just want to go sneaking into a common room for no reason at all, then do not even ask. I will not let you.
Other
- You are allowed to swear, but please refrain from using profane language all the time. Respect each other Out of Character no matter how much your characters hate each other. Do not let In Character feuds effect your Out of Character friendship. It is childish.
