ABOUT THE CHARACTER Name: Hayley Terranessa Williams Age: Fourteen Gender: Female Year: Fourth Celebrity: Hayley Williams/DeviantArt's Silent Awakening
Facial Properties:With a rather small forehead, Hayley’s eyes are set in the middle of her face. Most would say that her eyes are what show the most emotion, rather than her mouth or facial expressions. When she is angry, Hayley’s eyebrows lower and her expression turns sour. When happy, her eyes seem to glisten and (of course) the corners of her mouth are turned upwards into a grin. Physique:With a small, slender body, Hayley’s physical features compliment the rest of her body. Her heart-shaped face is cradled within her red locks. Usually covered with a smile, her face is rather clear for her age. With her laughter and happiness shown to all, Hayley's eyes seemed to glisten with tears. Not from crying, but from laughter. Standing at about five feet two inches, Hayley is small for her age. Since she is thin, she weighs only around 100 pounds. With her activity, she is able to eat whatever she wants without worrying about gaining a pound. With her father’s brown, and her mother’s black hair, it was strange for their daughter to be born with fiery red hair that from the top of her head to her shoulders is straight and hangs on her shoulders in many different layers.
With emerald eyes, Hayley, in a way, could look like a china doll. However, she does have some faults. Between her left eye and brow, is a scar. The only scar she has. She was born with this scar. Whenever she is worried, she runs her finger over it. It has become sort of like a habit to her.
Walking at quite a fast pace, Hayley is not one to hunch or be unladylike at all. She is very poised and precise when she walks. However, when she sees something interesting or needs to get somewhere fast, she runs with such a pace one would think she was sprinting. (Much to her mother's displeasure). On cleanliness, of course the young girl can't stand being dirty in the least.
Personality:Hayley displays an indomitable spirit that does not recognize defeat or boundaries. Her desire to go beyond, to surpass what has already been done to any given area is great. Yet she is patient enough to master the technical details of her craft. Hayley takes her studies very seriously. She will not stop until she is sure she has learned the subject. This does not apply only for schoolwork, but more for anything Hayley tries to do. This just shows how stubborn the girl really is.
With classes, Hayley does an excellent job compared to others. When Hayley is faced with a problem, she tries her hardest to do her best on it. She often takes her response to such an extent that she begins to ramble off answers that don't make sense. Her emotional energy is very strong, and it is from the heart that she expresses herself. Unlike others, Hayley is not afraid to show what she thinks of a particular subject. She will argue a subject for as long as it takes to prove she is right. Even if she is completely wrong, she will not accept it. This is one of the things that make others not too fond of her.
Hayley’s bravery and steadfastness under fire are outstanding qualities. She does not hesitate to retort to anything she disagrees with. However, Hayley can act, at times, like the goofball in her family. She is very fun loving, but can be a bit bossy and fussy at times. If something doesn’t go the right way, she is determined to make it perfect. Hayley is also quite a perfectionist. To her, it's the "My way or the Highway" option. She is quite smart, and is not afraid to show it. Some students often get annoyed by this, but Hayley could care less. However, this self-consciousness only applies to fitting in with others. Hayley could care less what others think of her when she is arguing her point or trying to get her reason across to someone.
Hayley always goes the extra mile when faced with challenges. She tries her best in everything she does. She doesn’t stop at something until she knows she has succeeded. And, even if she has, indeed, failed, she keeps going until she is worn out by trying or just gives up. (Which doesn’t happen too much.) She is well-mannered to a certain extent. She folds her napkin and places it on her lap; she crosses her legs under the table and is sure not to place her elbows on the table during supper. However, Hayley does slip up every once in a while. After all, she is just a little girl, not a woman.
This excessive determination and want to be different often reflects Hayley's deep seated insecurity, a fear of failure that can give way to irrational panic and anxiety. This may just be something that she feels from always trying so much and not always succeeding.
Hayley is quite good at sports and loves to read and write. She is a talented artist and can memorize things easily. With all of her spare time at home, Hayley would take a piece of parchment and an ink-quill and sit outside below the willow tree and sketch. This would take her most of the day (and she was, of course, interrupted with chores).
Hayley is very competitive, even to family. This isn't always a good thing. Often picking fights when she doesn't get what she wants, this often shows how bratty the girl really is. She can be stuck-up and argumentative. As stated above, she always thinks she is right, even when proved wrong. She has been told by her mother that “She always expects others to like her.” This statement was, of course, denied by Hayley.
Everyone has quirks, don’t they? Yes, even Miss Hayley has some faults and odd things she does. For one, she has a knack for showing up at the wrong moment. She is very curious when it comes to the lives of others. This is where Hayley can become a bit bossy. She tries to push others into telling her things they don’t necessarily want to. And when she doesn’t win, she begins to pout and whine. (And only to the soft does this work.)
When it comes to friends and other people, Hayley will try to make friends with anyone who is willing to become her friend. When first meeting someone, Hayley is a bit standoffish, but once she begins to talk to someone, she becomes more comfortable around them. Of course she starts with the small-talk, but eventually if the two get along nicely, they will begin to become friends. However, there is that chance that Hayley and another would not get along. In this case, Hayley will keep that in mind and will never attempt at a friendship with that particular person again. In fact, she will push the other to become enemies (which she is quite good at.)
Hayley gets very protective over those she is close to. With her closest friends she will do anything for them. After just a short period she begins to see them not as her friend, but more of a relative. Hayley’s friendships usually last a lifetime (once you get past her hard shell of course) and she can be quite a nice person.

History:Hayley Terranessa Williams was born on a warm September day to Michael Williams and Cassandra Deveraux. Michael Williams has worked for a law firm in San Francisco since he got out of college. Now at the age of fifty three, he is battling his two daughters, sick wife, and the nutcases that he has to deal with at work. Cassandra Deveraux comes from a long line of witches and warlocks, and when her powers were revealed to her, she was determined to keep them secret from her family. Her descendants had always been proud of their line of magic, but Cassandra was ashamed. She always thought that people would think she was crazy, so when she met and married Michael Williams, she kept her talents hidden.
The first child of the Williams family was Hannah Nicole. When Hannah was three, her baby sister was born by the name of Hayley Terranessa, named after their mother’s mother Terranessa. As the two girls grew up together, their parents realized what a handful they were going to be. Whatever Hannah wanted, Hayley wanted. Whatever Hannah needed, Hayley needed. Michael and Cassandra guessed that their two daughters were more similar than they had thought they would be.
By the time Hayley was five (Hannah was eight) the two girls started their ‘fighting stage’ of their childhood. Hannah began to use her age to her advantage and began to fight with Hayley as much as she could. Little did the two girls know that this would be the downfall of their mother’s hidden identity. Because Cassandra Williams had to spend so much of her time with the two girls, she began to worry more and more about what they might become. Still the looming threat of her past ran through her own veins, and she knew that it was running through her daughter’s as well.
When she was twelve Hayley began to develop her abilities, but Hannah did not. It was then that Cassandra took her youngest daughter to the secluded patch of wood behind their home and began to teach her about magic and her abilities that she would soon grow into. At first Hayley went along with it, just because she thought her mother was playing some sort of game with her, but when Cassandra finally showed her daughter her own abilities, Hayley began to be fearful of her own mother.
For one year there was no more talk of Magic between the mother and daughter and forty eight year old Cassandra began to get ill. A few months later, she died. The death of their mother came as a shock to the two teenage girls. Thirteen year old Hayley and Sixteen year old Hannah began to help their father in any way they could. The two girls began to cook, do the dishes, and clean the house while their father struggled to handle the death of his wife, his career, and his two teenage daughters.
Just when the family thought they couldn’t handle it, Cassandra’s mother and the girl’s grandmother arrived. Terranessa took the two girls from Michael for a short period of time, just so they could all get things back in order. Michael began to do better with his job and the two girls lived with their grandmother in her large, Victorian house a few miles away on the outskirts of the big city.
It was then that Terranessa decided to begin the girl’s lessons as witches. Hannah was quite interested, Hayley was not. She believed that the death of her mother was caused by the magic and she wanted nothing to do with it. However, when the girls’ grandmother realized that it was not Hannah that had inherited the magical abilities; she had a long talk to Hayley about why it was so important for her to continue her studies. After a while, the now-fourteen year old agreed.
For two years Hayley learned magic, gaining her abilities quicker than her grandmother expected, all the while Hannah stayed out the outside and watched. The girls fought a couple of times about Hayley’s getting to be a witch but Hannah being un-magical, but after explaining everything to her sister, the two girls began to get along once again.
ABOUT YOU Name: Cassie Years of Experience: Four, baby. Sample Post:As the young child continued to walk, her mind still lingered upon the many happenings of this cruel city. To the south was the penitentiary, the last home pirates and thieves rested before their lives were ended. Many times Annika had come in contact with the eerie jail. The young lass was not held captive, but many times her curiosity took hold of her as she passed the wrought iron gate surrounding the prison. When she was younger she would pass the entrance and smile innocently at the guard standing with his sword sheathed at his side, ready to kill anyone who tried to enter or escape. "How many pirates do you s'pose are held in there?" She would stop and ask the man, swinging her arms at her side to give the impression that she was just a mere child with a curious mind for exciting stories. "Tis'ard to say, miss." The man would say simply, wanting the child to leave him be but not having the balls to brush her aside. Annika would smile and inwardly laugh at how soft the man truely was beneath his rough shell. And they called themselves strong.
A faint voice startled Annika back to the present, causing the young girl to stop in her tracks and listen. Annika strained to hear the voice again, but nothing came except the sound of a sword coming in contact with something and the sound of horses hooves clacking upon the cobblestone. Slipping between two buildings, Annika watched as a hooded and masked figure rode past on the horse and continued a little way before stopping in front of a small shoppe around the corner. The lass's heart started beating roughly, for she knew of masked men patrolling the streets and alleys of Port Royal in the dead of night. For the many times she had come out here, this would be the first she had encountered one.
Before the girl came out of her hiding place she stripped of her petticoat, revealing a pair of maroon leggings over which was a pair of black trousers. For a top the young lass wore a maroon sleeved shirt and a black leather vest. The black scarf tied around her head matched perfectly with her attire. Tossing the dress aside where she was sure to find it in the morn, Annika was smiling with comfort in her choice of clothes. 'Much easier to run in.' She thought as she left her hiding place and quickened her pace in the opposite direction of the bounty hunter.
It wasn't but moments later when the sound of the horses hooves appeared behind her followed by a woman's voice. The words she spoke did not comprehend with Annika, for it seemed the woman was speaking a different tongue - French perhaps. Turning on her heel to face the rider atop the horse she smiled politely and spoke, "I am sorry, but I do not speak your tongue nor do I understand your language." She said, placing her hands on her hips, thinking up a scheme in case the worst should happen. Over the years Annika had become one with the streets and alleys and suburbs of Port Royal. There was no doubt in her mind that she could find her way through the city with her eyes shut. And if she couldn't outrun this horse, she would fight the bounty hunter. Annika smiled as she felt the cool silver of the knife strapped to her leg inside of her boots. Other: *edited*
