ABOUT THE CHARACTER Name: Amanda Wolf
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Class: Herbology
Celebrity: None yet
Facial Properties: Amanda is often mistaken for a young woman newly graduated from school, many thinking she could not yet be twenty years of age. Her face is soft and fair (but not pale). It bears no freckles, scars or other markings, and Amanda has not had pimples since she was sixteen. She has reasonably high cheekbones, making her face appear thin, though it is not overly so.
Her sea green-blue eyes are wide, framed by arched, thin, dark eyebrows. In the centre of her face is a somewhat thin and small nose, reasonably straight if not slightly up-turned at the end. Her chin certainly does not jut out nor is it pointy, but is of average size, if not a little smaller, and curved nicely. Amanda’s pink lips, are normally full, and can bear quite a graceful smile, along with her neat white teeth, well placed.
This face is framed by naturally straight hair, maybe with a slight wave near the bottom. Her slightly thick hair falls an inch or so beneath her shoulder blades. It is dark, near brown, dirty-blonde in colouring, and slightly darker beneath what shows clearly to the sun, and lighter at the tips.
Physique: Amanda stands at five-foot eight inches. She is quite vain, which impacts her looks; she follows fashion, and what is thought, according to the magazines and all, to be beautiful. Her appearance matches these records well enough, but, of course, she does all she can to make herself ‘perfect’. Her figure is quite sleek, slim and petite, but not what most would consider too skinny. The slender woman’s skin is soft and fair, though not sickeningly pale.
Her soft skin is clear and unmarked; she would never consider a tattoo or anything of the sort, and thankfully has had no severe injuries to leave scars or such, and avoids dirt, along with gaining cuts, bruises or breaking a nail. She has ear piercing, of course, and often wears both make-up and jewellery; earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets, and quite expensive stuff, too. Her clothing she also keeps both fashionable and expensive.
She has fairly thin fingers, of average length, her fingernails not short or bitten, but also not too long.
Personality: Amanda is not a friendly person. She can be quite unfair towards the students she teachers, often favouring certain students and showing distaste towards others. Of course, she does not make it too apparent, particular when around other professors or people with some power, making it hard for one to accuse her of it with any good evidence. Amanda is also very vain.
She will often judge one with out getting to know them and she is very hard to befriend if you are not a wealthy pureblood. However she acts with false politeness and speaking in a falsely sugary voice towards people with authority over her, if she dislikes them. Of course, she is not bluntly mean and an awful person at all times, despite her favourism, harshness and all. Once you have become friends with her, she will become quite a different person. She will act caring and loyal, though she may betray one’s trust if she will get something worthwhile out of it.
Amanda desires to become the Slytherin Head of House, even Deputy Headmistress. Who knows, perhaps she could go as far as becoming Headmistress! She wishes for, basically, a high position of authority at the school. She finds herself jealous of those with a higher status, and will, the majority of times, immediately dislike them for having something she wants.
She also wants to become the Defence Against Dark Arts professor quite greatly, but when the Herbology position at the school became free, she took up that instead. For now. Really, she loathes the class, disliking Herbology in general, and plants. She isn’t that big on teaching in general, it’s quite a wonder she took up the career. However, it seemed to be the thing she had the best marks for in her NEWTS when she completed school herself.
She dislikes most animals, though there are a couple of suggestions; for example, she loves felines, and has one of her own, a white female Angora, rather vicious towards other animals and humans other than her owner.
The woman is also very intellectual. She is quite an actress, seeming to be able to get her way out of anything.
Likes: Power &&Wealth &&Cats &&Fashion + the likes &&Defence Against the Dark Arts

History: Amanda was born almost two weeks premature in a Scottish hospital in which was located in a small Wizarding community, on January 6th. It was not, though, that her parents were Scottish, or even lived in the country. They were British, but had merely been on a holiday. Her parents had planned this holiday just over a year before, and hotels and such had been booked and everything paid for, so when they found that Sandra, Amanda’s mother, was pregnant with their child, it was too late to cancel.
Her parents returned to their large three-story house near Diagon Alley in England with their newborn child three days later. She was their first child; they had met merely a year before Sandra fell pregnant, and had married just a month before that time. They both belonged to pureblood families, her father, Frank, to a very wealthy one, well known in the area, and her mother to a reasonably rich one, though certainly not as wealthy as Frank’s.
No more children were born to Amanda’s parents as she grew up. She was spoilt rotten, getting what she wanted when she wanted. Amanda was sorted into Slytherin when she entered Hogwarts, and found joy in bullying other students, and became quite vain and disliking students from other houses, unwealthy and muggle families.
When she tried, Amanda got very high marks in classes. However, she did not put too much work into school until her sixth and seventh year, wanting to be able to get a good job. She got fantastic NEWTS, and found that teaching was something she had particularly good results for.
Leaving school, she worked as a secretary for the Ministry, whilst studying to become a professor. She excelled, and, when she was 21, went to work at Hogwarts. She was bothered by the fact that the Defence Against the Dark Arts teaching position was filled, so instead reluctantly took the Herbology position. She would wait for her moment to teach the class she wanted…
Resume: Amanda had excellent marks from her schooling years, her NEWTS in particular. She worked at the Ministry as a secretary whilst studying to become a professor at Hogwarts. She was commented to be responsible and good at her job, though her acting ability was behind a lot of that. She excelled highly in her studying, and went to Hogwarts at twenty-one. She got the position as Herbology professor, though she had been hoping for the DADA one. However, she reluctantly contented herself with her job, hoping one day she would get the job. At twenty-three, she has been working at Herbology professor for two years.
ABOUT YOU Name: Eloise
Years of Experience: Good question… Probably 3-5 years.
Sample Post: Amanda paced down the corridor. The professor’s lips pursed. She had to get to Greenhouse 3 and prepare a lesson with a class of first years, in Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, in ten minutes or so. Great. Last time she had had this lot, the young children had misbehaved and she’d had to give out three detention slips!
Amanda tossed her currently layered blonde hair behind her back. Her blue-green eyes were narrowed. She was not in a good mood. Her last class, a group of third years, had caused a bit of mischief, and one student, mentally challenged, had handed in the small test she had had them complete in writing next to impossible to decipher! How that girl had gotten into Hogwarts she didn’t know. Then, the school had been letting just about anyone enter for some time now… It had taken her almost half an hour to correct that one double sided sheet!
Amanda’s green scarf shifted slightly as she steppe out of the castle briskly, into a gentle breeze. For once, she wore a reasonably simple black robe, though obviously an expensive design. Her lips were red with lipstick, again expensive, and it was obvious she wore eyeliner.
She strode towards the greenhouses. As a Hufflepuff girl, in her first year, bumped into her, the professor glared down at her. Amanda recognised the girl to be one she taught, Clair Lane, and in her coming class. The girl held a schoolbook, which she had obviously been reading while walking.
“Be careful, Miss Lane!” snapped Amanda irritably, “You’re lucky I’m kind enough not to take housepoints off you! Watch where you’re walking; you shouldn’t be doing you’re homework while walking!” She paused, frowning. Reaching out, she lifted the book. Clair was doing some homework Amanda had set last lesson. “And my homework! You ought’ve completed that already, Miss Lane! I should hope it’s done by class in half an hour. Unless, of course, you wish for detention…”
She left it at that, giving a hint of a smirk, and briskly moved on. She soon reached Greenhouse 3, and with a weary sigh, the professor pulled out her wand, performing the charm to unlock the door, before opening it and stepping in.

Sorry, but no, that isn't what I meant. I'm glad you read the rules, though. Read that one part again. I re-wrote it to make it more clear.
